Funny Cide Gets the Last Laugh
This July 4th marks the one-year anniversary of Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide’s last race. The champion didn’t rest on his laurels, though: just 48 hours after crossing the finish line for the last time, Funny Cide found himself employed in the same industry, but with a different job title. We are still working a bit on the barn. The contractors are waiting on some flashing. Rick has most of the wiring in, and most of the stalls rebuilt. He shoudl be done by this afternoon and I will try to take photos. We even have about 40 round bales put up. 🙂 Here is the link to see picutres of the barn.
